New Series of Visual Fault Locators from OMI

We’ve launched a new series of three Visual Fault Locators (VFLs) from OMI Solutions, now available in 1mW, 10mW, and an adjustable version with 1, 10, and 30mW output. All models feature a built-in rechargeable battery and integrated LED flashlight.

The new VFLs from OMI come in three versions but share the same design. The series includes a 1mW model, a 10mW model, and a third adjustable model with three power levels: 1mW, 10mW, and 30mW. Each unit has a built-in rechargeable battery and charges via an integrated USB-C port. The light source can operate in either continuous mode or pulsed mode at 2 or 5 KHz. Additionally, they include a white LED flashlight for extra visibility.

These VFLs from OMI are specifically designed for field technicians who need a portable visible laser source for port identification, troubleshooting in splice trays, locating fiber breaks in cable ducts, and general fault detection. They are also ideal for identifying issues in OTDR dead zones.
