AEM CV100

TestPro CV100 is a series of testing instruments from AEM Precision Cable Test designed for the certification of structured cabling systems (PDS). The TestPro devices are highly user-friendly and efficient. Certification requires measurement with a device at each end of the cable.

With a single press, all tests required for compliance with TIA/ISO standards are performed, along with additional parameters such as DC resistance unbalance, TCL, and ELTCTL. TestPro’s comprehensive DC measurements include both pair-to-pair and conductor-to-conductor resistance unbalance tests. The autotest also reports fault distances for shield discontinuity, NEXT, and Return Loss through time-domain measurements.

Autotest results are stored in memory and can be transferred to the included TestDataPro results software or TestDataPro Cloud for documentation, reporting, and easier collaboration across sites.

TestPro supports CAT5e to CAT8 certification for both Channel and Permanent Links. A CAT6A patch cable adapter is included in some Smart Building test kits to facilitate MPTL testing without additional equipment. CAT5e and CAT6 patch cable adapters are available for purchase.
