Fujikura’s high-quality optical fiber cleavers for large diameter fibers (LDF Fiber) are designed to achieve low cleave angles with pristine end faces across a wide range of fiber types. These cleavers are commonly used for fiber preparation for fusion splicing of standard data communication fibers, octagonal or round large diameter fibers (LDF), polarization-maintaining fibers, photonic crystal fibers, and even component manufacturing with capillary tubes, ball lenses, and end caps. 

CT-114: 

The smallest model in the series, capable of cleaving fibers from 80–660 μm. It features a manual backstop and tension adjustment, unlike the CT-115 and CT-116 models.

• Applicable fibers: 80–660 μm coating 

• Manual backstop and tension adjustment 

• 125 μm coating: Avg. 0.2° cleave angle 

• 400 μm coating: Avg. 0.3° cleave angle 

• 660 μm coating: Avg. 0.4° cleave angle 

• Blade lifespan of approximately 200,000 cleaves with 250 μm coated fiber
